But one should ask themselves how much paper waste does a business incur on a daily basis?

There are no magic technologies when we talk about our environment.

Soon businesses will have to make tough choices. Each of us has a vested interest in protecting the environment, thus conserving energy and reducing waste.   GREEN solutions are about the environment—minimizing pollution to the air, water, soil and more, and about preserving natural resources that are not easily renewable.

At Scott Reprographics, LLC we want to offer some new vision, a vision which goes beyond talking about sustainable solutions. Our solutions offer long-term paybacks which have proven positive effects on our client’s bottom line.

Some of the eco-friendly efforts are as follows;

• GREEN solutions will be provided to all clients.
• Printing when necessary, on energy efficient machines.
• Employing Document Management solutions, such as scanning and archiving files for future use.
• Managing the file structure so there is little or no redundancy.
• Using rewritable CD/DVD’s so that temporary files can be written over and over again to minimize waste.
• Recycled paper will be used as an option, but all paper products used will be at least 33% recycled.
• All vendors must supply copies of their recycle program.
• Supplies will be purchased in bulk.
• All carpeting in the facility will be made from recycled materials.
• All bathroom fixtures will be low-flow fixtures.
• Tank less hot water heaters are installed.
• Operable windows will be installed to maximum air flow and decrease the need for air conditioners.
• Windows and glazing will be used to control incoming sunlight.
• Appliances and office equipment bearing the Energy Star logo will be installed whenever possible.

Understanding our client’s needs regarding promoting a sustainable environment is critical. We will help them to develop need-based solutions so that they will be able to utilize both our print and non-print resources. Scott Reprographics, LLC turnkey solutions include our online document management system, archiving and reciprocal storage processes. Systems that scan and archive documents can provide the client the ability to electronically access and view data and allows documents to be stored indefinitely, accurately and paperless. Moreover, when required we will use paper.
